Realistic, semi-realistic and entirely unrealistic candidates to reinvigorate 'SNL'
Kroll has so many irons in the fire that it’s slightly silly to include him here. However, in a career that now includes “Kroll Show” on Comedy Central, “The League” on FX, and guest spots on shows such as “Parks And Recreation”, who are we to say he doesn’t have more energy in the tank? Kroll comes from a current pool of comedians who work incessantly, and the fact that he once was rejected from the show could give him incentive to come back and demonstrate just how far he’s come since that failed audition. Being around full-time simply wouldn’t be possible. But giving him the occasional sketch or short to add to the show’s overall comedic palette? That sounds like a win-win.
