Realistic, semi-realistic and entirely unrealistic candidates to reinvigorate 'SNL'
Timberlake is about as hot as it comes right now, with the release of his most recent album and near-ubiquitous presence on the radio, TV, and other forms of media. But there have also been plenty of hints that “The 20/20 Experience” wasn’t even an album he necessarily planned to put out, until contractual and legal obligations made it necessary. There are few bigger stars in the world right now. But there are also fewer who would forgo millions of dollars just to mess around in Studio 8H for a couple of weeks. Timberlake, like several recent show hosts, has the chops to be a full-time cast member. And while that would be fun, the idea of him “sitting in” for a month as a temporary player seems like something he would consider doing. Is it that far-fetched to think he could split his time between “SNL” and “The Tonight Show” to help Jimmy Fallon launch his hosting duties there?
