So-So: Claire Danes
From a distance, I thought this was a pretty great dress. The one-shoulder silhouette, the white print detail, the minimalist aesthetic. But then, there was the make-up. Dark lipstick is glamorous, yes, but it's also aging, especially when it's paired with a reddish eye make-up. She's 33 but looks closer to 43. That being said, all of this would probably look great in a dimly lit restaurant.
