Hallelujah! After a season's worth of dumpy dresses, peek-a-boo gowns and simply bizarre outfits, Chastain has finally nailed it with an elegant Alexander McQueen gown, relaxed hair and minimal jewelry (you don't need much with this gown). Yes, the pattern isn't the easiest one to pull off, but Chastain has finally found a dress that stands out but isn't competing with her for attention. May we now have a ritualistic burning of that frowsy blue bedsheet from the Hollywood Reporter's nominee party.
