27. Katy Perry: "Firework"
Katy Perry is a solid music video artist; her Wonka-land candy-coated antics make "California Gurls" and "Last Friday Night" great fun. But Katy can't -- no matter how hard she tries -- get away with sincerity. From "The One That Got Away" to "Unconditionally," her biggest flops are also her most contrived attempts at an earnest message. "Firework" is the overplayed anthem of her career, with a video so humorlessly condescending (even with the Roman candle bra), it could feasibly be called "Christina Aguilera's 'Beautiful' for Dummies."
