Quentin Tarantino's Greatest Hits
From 'Little Green Bag' to '100 Black Coffins'
Luis Bacalov, "Parte Prima" / Armando Trovaioli, "I Lunghi Giorni Della Vendetta" ("Kill Bill: Vol. 1")
Tarantino used Luis Bacalov's "Parte Prima" (from the Spaghetti Western "The Grand Duel") to startling effect during the anime sequence "The Origin of O-Ren" in his fourth feature. He also brought in Armando Trovaioli's score from another film, "Long Days of Vengeance," later in the scene, which remains one of the coolest concepts the director ever put forth. - Kristopher Tapley
