One of the things that makes "Days Of Future Past" so potentially exciting is the notion of putting different takes on these characters side-by-side, and while I'm not sure I believe that James McAvoy would age into Patrick Stewart, I absolutely would love to see the two of them together.  Professor X has always been the centered presence at the heart of the X-Men, but obviously he wasn't always that way.  Putting the inexperienced McAvoy up against the far wiser Stewart could be a tremendously exciting match-up, and the idea of putting twice the brain power to work against whatever foe the team faces in the new movie may be the only thing that saves them.
