Now more of a walking kimono-clad punchline than a bona fide action star, Steven Seagal nevertheless ranks as possibly the most glaring no-show from the first two movies - apparently the result of some bad blood between himself and franchise producer Avi Lerner. But really, what has he got to lose at this point? His mainstream film career is essentially non-existent - Robert Rodriguez's "Machete" is his only theatrically-released credit from the last decade - and it doesn't appear as if his A&E reality series "Steven Seagal: Lawman" is coming back anytime soon. In short, The Great One needs to bite the proverbial bullet and get on board this mutha while he still can.
