He's been asked numerous times, but Ben Stiller's answer has always been "no."  At some point though, it feels inevitable that the talented actor, writer and director will take the time to host the Academy Awards.  He has an almost golden track record of hilarious presenter appearances on the Oscars, hosted probably the most memorable MTV Movie Awards ever (1996 alongside buddy Janeane Garofalo) and has been the highlight of two Britannia Awards ceremonies both as a presenter and honoree. Is this the year?  Considering the box office fate of "The Watch" it might not be a bad career move.
