Who: C-3PO and R2-D2

What we would like to see: With their memories allegedly wiped clean at the end of "Episode III," we're not quite sure how  the bumbling C-3PO and his counterpart, R2-D2,  ended up on that blockade runner at the beginning of the 1977 original. In their spin-off, the droids can have their memories wiped again and be re-programmed to be the unwilling minions of The Empire, or whatever entity serves as the villain in the new trilogy. They'll then have to deal with an existential identity crisis.
