SHOW:"Grey's Anatomy" (ABC)

IN ITS FAVOR: "Grey's Anatomy" still wins its Thursday 9 p.m. slot among young viewers most weeks. That's valuable real estate. The show has also been a year-in/year-out Emmy factor for ABC, which can't be said for most of the networks dramas in recent years. It's also the lone survivor of that glorious development season that also yielded "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost," which should make it a sentimental favorite as long as it wants to remain.

AGAINST IT: Ratings are down, but so what? The big question is obviously this: If/when ABC brings back "Grey's Anatomy," who will be back? Will Meredith be gone? Will McDreamy be gone? Nobody's saying thus far.

OUR TOTALLY UNINFORMED GUESS: "Grey's Anatomy" will be back. We won't predict who's going to return, star-wise. That'd be fodder for a different gallery/article.

VERDICT: Renewed!
