The Worst TV Shows of 2012 from The Fien Print
HitFix's Daniel Fienberg counts down the Bottom 10 of 2012
TV's Worst of 2012 Intro
Dishonorable Mentions: "2 Broke Girls" escapes my Bottom 10 because Kat Dennings has finally become the wise-cracking sitcom lead we all expected her to be and Beth Behrs is charming as well. Just ignore that the show will never ever fix that hideous diner stuff. "Episodes" escapes my Bottom 10 because although it remained a self-satisfied and toothless Hollywood satire, it stopped causing me pain. "GCB" escapes my Bottom 10 because who even remembers that "GCB" was a thing that happened. And "Anger Management" escapes my Bottom 10 because I don't want to give the Charlie Sheen comeback credit for inciting even that level of reaction.
Special "I Quit" Bonus: I couldn't watch a second episode of "Beauty and the Beast," which was absolutely the worst pilot of the fall of 2012, unless the worst pilot of 2012 was "Guys with Kids." I quit on both shows almost immediately. If they got good, I didn't see it. And speaking of getting good, I've heard tell that after the first three episodes of the fall caused me to finally quit on "Glee," everything changed and magically got better. I could have put "Glee" on my Bottom 10 anyway because of the spring and the start of the fall, but out of respect for people who swear there was major improvement exactly as I left... I'll refrain.
