The newly opened showcase runs through June of next year
"A Clockwork Orange" (1971)
Mannequins from the Korova Milkbar set of "A Clockwork Orange," one of Kubrick's most controversial pieces of work. The film celebrated its 40th anniversary last year with a restoration and Blu-ray release. We wrote more about it upon that occasion <a href="http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/in-contention/posts/kubrick-marketing-maven-mike-kaplan-on-a-clockwork-orange-at-40" target="_blank">here</a>. It seems somewhat stunning that the Academy had the stones to hand it nominations for Best Picture and Best Director. Though, of course, they didn't have the stones to hand it an actual Oscar.
