What they bring: Joining Hackman in the movie star ranks are George Clooney, who had the lead in "Fantastic Mr. Fox" and seemed to spark to the film's tone and atmosphere, and Meryl Streep, offering the soft spousal touch. It would be great to see Clooney in particular give a live action Anderson endeavor a go. He's worked well with the Coen brothers, whose comedy stylings are obviously an influence on the director.
