Perhaps "Worst" is the wrong description and something like, "Most clumsily transfered from a different era" is more appropriate. Reba McEntire and Lily Tomlin are both pros and neither is especially besmirched by a script that feels like it could have been written in 1984, with its feigned confusion regarding homosexuality, California liberals and pot. "Malibu Country" will make a good, stale pairing with "Last Man Standing" on Friday nights for ABC. I'll watch something else.
