The Best and Worst New TV Shows of Fall 2012
'Beauty & The Beast,' 'Last Resort,' 'Vegas' and 'The Neighbors' make the cut
WORST - NBC's "Chicago Fire"
There's a possibility I'm misjudging this one. At TCA press tour, producer Dick Wolf described a character-driven procedural about firefighters that used Chicago as a character and carved out its own niche in the genre without trying to be like a generic younger brother to "Rescue Me." That is, unfortunately, not what the pilot for "Chicago Fire" is. It's a lot of fire, no real characters and Jesse Spencer with a really bad accent. The fact that NBC didn't even put the show's creators on the TCA panel for "Chicago Fire" isn't a good sign.
