The 10 most underrated 'Saturday Night Live' cast members of all time
You won't find Tina Fey, Eddie Murphy, Bill Murray or Adam Sandler on this list
2. Chris Parnell
Seasons: 1998 - 2006
Best known for: Rapping, especially with Lazy Sunday; the ass-obsessed character in the Appalachian Emergency Room.
Why: 'Saturday Night Live' has made a tradition out of developing movie stars, and they have had a lot of people move through the show over the years on their way to something else. When you're a cast member on the show and you're not one of the big stars, you end up having to play the utilitarian roles, and that's where Parnell would shine. He was one of those all-purpose guys, and in his post-"SNL" career, he's become a workhorse, a guy who gets brought in for all sorts of supporting roles on shows like "30 Rock" and "Archer," and he continues to prove that he can spin even the smallest role into comic gold.
