The 10 Greatest Super Bowl halftime shows of all time
Beyonce, Prince, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and more
3. Beyonce, Super Bowl XLVII (2013)
Many divas have graced the Super Bowl halftime stage, but none with the power and, um, back lighting of Queen Bey. It was the sexiest half-time show since Prince or Janet Jackson (take your pick) and boy did she bring the hits. Starting with "Crazy in Love" she transitioned to "Till The End" (aka, "Say You'll Never Let Me Go") into a digital montage of a hundred (?) Beyonce's strutting to "Baby Boy." And, then, the most hyped moment of the night: a Destiny's Child reunion giving the Metrodome some "Bootylicious" and "Independent Woman" (around a circle of fire no less!). She then recruits Kelly and Michelle to sing "Single Ladies" before finally kicking them off the stage (hey, it's all about B here). And, unlike other performers, Beyonce wasn't afraid to slow it down to close the show. With "Halo" she shows off her pipes with all the dancers gone and just Beyonce and the fans taking it home. Gutsy. And it worked.
