"Gangster Squad's" Gosling plays Luke, a stunt driver (just like in "Drive") whose decision to turn to crime puts him on a collision course with an ambitious rookie cop played by Bradley Cooper. That's just the beginning, though, as "Pines" is a multigenerational crime saga which also follows the fate of the two main characters' sons.
