I almost always give Nicki Minaj a pass on the red carpet, and the reason is that she's been so effective at creating a brand -- part Barbie, part mind trip, all brash. Tonight, she's actually a little more elegant than usual -- but she still brings the Minaj magic in color. In a basic blue, this would just be dull and far too dressy. But in neon yellow, it's perfectly her.
