Quick fixes for the fall's worst new TV Shows
Can 'Mom,' 'Dads,' and 'We Are Men' be saved?
Biggest Flaw: It bears absolutely no resemblance to Bram Stoker's "Dracula."
Our Helpful Solution: NBC's revisionist take on "Dracula" is almost stupefyingly boring. Fidelity to Bram Stoker's novel isn't a requirement and it's too late for anybody to go back and fix that mess now. However, "Dracula" doesn't premiere for another three-plus weeks, so it isn't too late for NBC to add some more action, or at least some more vampires. There's hardly any neck-biting or supernatural excitement in "Dracula," but NBC can still fix some of that by maybe purchasing a DVD of "The Lost Boys" and putting Kiefer Sutherland and company in the lower right corner of the screen, picture-in-picture style. Or they could just add Heather Locklear as a sexy vampire.
