Most anticipated albums of 2014
Beck, Wu-Tang Clan, U2, and even more Kanye West
Release date: Summer
Why it's anticipated: Even if you're still feeling the sting of "Yeezy," Kanye West is eyeing a summer 2014 release for another solo set. Q-Tip told Jay Z's co. Life + Times that he's going to be producing on the next one, alongside Rick Rubin. To the Breakfast Club, West himself said fans should expect more smoothness like "Blood on the Leaves" than barbs like "Black Skinhead."
"I think my next album is going to be eight songs," West said during an interview early in December. "It's just reducing down the amount of information that you need. People say a design is the point where you can't take anything else away. [Yeezus] was very, very designed."
