The closing ceremonies had more time for artistic performances than the opening kick-off. Considering the jukebox through the decades theme in the opening ceremonies, the closing has a much wider range of cultural influences. From Stomp to Spellbound to the Pet Shop Boys to Tao Cruiz to One Direction to to Ed Sheeran to Emile Sande to to Ray Davies (pictured) to Kaiser Chiefs to George Michael it was a broader range of British performers.
