Jonas Brothers call it quits: 10 Sibling Bands that lasted longer
Jackson 5, Everly Brothers, Kings of Leon, The National and more: How'd they fare?
Perhaps the most twisted, dysfunctional sibling rivalry in rock, Ray and Dave Davies have been going at it for more of the band’s 50 years. Whether Dave was accusing Ray of not giving him songwriting credit on songs like “Lola,” or Ray was hogging the spotlight a little too much, their feuding led to the band’s breakup in 1996. Temperatures have run so cold between the two that Dave told Rolling Stone that after his stroke in 2004, he thought Ray “secretly enjoyed seeing me completely capacitated.” Unbelievably, the two are apparently contemplating a 50th anniversary tour together. Don’t count on it.
