In his favor: The ubiquitous star has been seemingly everywhere lately, and he will further solidify his genre resume in the upcoming "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." He's got charm and can handle the action scenes. Seeing JGL as Solo would be a treat for fans of "(500) Days of Summer," in which his character imagines himself as the roguish space smuggler.
Against him: Is he too big of a star now? Disney may be searching for more of an unknown.
