Known For: For now, that Dior ad with "Star Wars" franchise veteran Natalie Portman, but he's the male lead in potential franchise pic "Beautiful Creatures" (pictured at left) and he'll also be seen in the highly anticipated "Stoker."
In His Favor: In "Beautiful Creatures," he's a believable romantic lead, but he also punctures the potential treacle with an appealingly sardonic wit that is, dare we say, Solo-esque. It doesn't hurt that Ehrenreich's career has already been blessed by Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Coppola, giving him automatic credibility.
Against Him: If "Beautiful Creatures" is a hit, Ehrenreich may be locked down for a while, franchise-wise. It's also entirely possible that the 23-year-old actor will read younger and more physically slight than necessary to fill Harrison Ford's shoes.
