Good girls gone bad: From Elizabeth Taylor to Anne Hathaway
Which stars pulled a 'Spring Breakers' before Selena Gomez?
Film she went "bad" for: "Sin City"
Why it was shocking: Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller's CG ode to film noir was filled with femme fatales played by innocent-looking starlets, including Brittany Murphy, Alexis Bledel, Carla Gugino, Marley Shelton and, as an exotic dancer with a troubled past, Ms. Alba. In a city home to dismemberment, beheadings, Mickey Rourke and other distasteful images, the star of family-friendly fare such as "Never Been Kissed," "Honey" and TV's "Flipper" comes off as comparatively clean. However, "Sin CIty" is several monochromatic shades darker than anything else on her resume -- until her appearance in 2010's disturbingly graphic "The Killer Inside Me."
