Good girls gone bad: From Elizabeth Taylor to Anne Hathaway
Which stars pulled a 'Spring Breakers' before Selena Gomez?
Film she went "bad" for: "Butterfield 8"
Why it was shocking: This was going bad on-screen and off-screen for Elizabeth Taylor, who got her start as the juvenile star of "National Velvet" and the gorgeous young star of "A Place in the Sun" and "Father of the Bride." While Taylor had already gone a little bad with "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" and "Suddenly Last Summer," "BUtterfield 8" went all the way, with Taylor playing a boozing, man-eating (not literally) call-girl with the wondrous name of Gloria Wandrous. At the same time she was making the movie, Taylor was facing negative press for breaking up Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds' marriage. Taylor initially hated the movie. Then she won her first Oscar for it.
