Bill Hader may be the closest thing to the show's present, but Killam seems poised to be the show's future. In two short years, he's created a memorable series of characters as well as introduced a new comedic sensibility to the program (specifically in his "Les Jeunes De Paris" series of sketches"). In this transitional year, it's time for the writers to hand him the ball and let him run with it. Not only is he a stand-out performer, but he also has a knack for bringing out unique energy in those with whom he performs.
