Look: we all love Stefon. The fact that this character hasn't turned into a parody of itself is something of a miracle. And heavens knows that "SNL" loves to return to a known quantity whenever possible in order to meet its weekly live quota. But less is more when it comes to perhaps the most beloved character in the show's current roster. Seeing Bill Hader crack up at the lines revealed to him live on-camera is one of the show's great delights, but those delights could see increasingly small returns should they send Stefon to the "Weekend Update" set every other week.
