Dear Hollywood: Don't remake these '80s classics

Both the "Footloose" remake and "The Thing" remake/prequel are hitting theaters this week, while remakes of other iconic '80s films including "RoboCop," "Red Dawn," and "Monster Squad" are currently in the pipeline. And yet we can't help but think there are some Reagan-era classics that should, like, totally be spared the modernization treatment. Following is our list of 15 beloved '80s films that deserve to be kept sacred.
