Comic-Con 2013 Big Questions: 'Catching Fire,' Dan Harmon, 'Ender's Game'
How will 'Catching Fire's' panel compare to the 'Twilight' screamfests of years past?
You'd think with this year's Best Actress winner and current Americas's Sweetheart Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth at Comic-Con we'll hear the high pitched screams of almost 6,000 teenage girls getting a chance to see their "Hunger Games" heroes in person. That's what happened four years ago when "Twilight" stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Swift walked onto the Hall H stage for the first time. As someone in the crowd that day I can tell you the reaction was absolutely insane. Anytime one of the main stars said anything a euphoric scream would come from the audience. The subsequent "Twilight Saga" panels never lived up to that hysteria, but could the "Hunger Games" franchise? Probably not. While Katniss and crew have their own passionate fan base it's one tier down from the level of obsessive fandom "Twilight" evoked around the world. That being said, the chance to see the always blunt and charming J-La work that room? A can't miss Comic-Con event.
