Abilities: At this current juncture in the Marvel comic book universe, Adam Warlock manipulates "quantum magic" and cosmic energy. He can create force fields, survive in space with no protection and fly at the speed of light. Basically, he's more powerful than Thor or any Asgardian you've seen on the big screen so far.

Lowdown: Another character with a long history with Thanos, Adam Warlock is best described as an artificially created being with cosmic powers. How he'll be used or portrayed in a "Guardians" film is anyone's guess.  And, yes, at one time he was Gamora's lover.
