For an actor, bringing a physical manifestation of pure evil to life isn't as easy as it might seem.  You have to walk a fine line of seriousness without being campy or over-the-top. The job is even more difficult when you're playing a character that has been imagined by millions of readers in a series of best-selling books across the globe.  It's amazing then that Ralph Fiennes will never get the true credit he deserves in his portrayal of Voldemort aka "he who must not be named" aka Harry Potter's ultimate nemesis. The character truly terrified children on the big screen (and possibly their parents as well) and much of that had to do with Fiennes superb performance across six films.
