One of the few emotional moments of this year's ceremony was the special honor given to Harris Savides.  The noted cinematographer of films such as "The Game," "Margot at the Wedding" and "American Gangster" was a frequent collaborator of Gus Van Sant, David Fincher, Noah Baumbach and Sofia Coppola. With his daughter Sophie Savides on hand, Coppola read a tender and moving tribute to her artistic collaborator. It was a bit too much or Sophie to take and she fought off the tears accepting speaking to the crowd.

Savides last film was Coppola's "The Bling Ring" with Emma Watson and Leslie Mann and is expected to be released sometime this year.
