Best and Worst of the 2012 London Olympic Opening Ceremonies
Worst: Lack of big British stars
We understand participating in the Olympic Ceremony means you (likely) don't get paid, but where were the big names? The participation of Emile Sande, Arctic Monkeys, Kenneth Branagh and J.K. Rowling was great, but how about the U.K.'s long line of pop stars? There was a whole segment of the ceremony going through four decades of popular music. And yet, Adele (granted pregnant), Spice Girls, Take That, Coldplay, Florence and the Machine, Lily Allen, Annie Lennox, Mick Jagger, etc. couldn't find a way in? Disappointing.
