Electronic Dance Music, EDM, electronica, DJ music, dance, dance production, whatever... it's not, like, krumping or ham radio or something so obscure or intangible that the AMA producers had to spell it out like they did. To make a big deal about EDM getting it's first year of honors only highlighted the awards show's previous omissions and subjection to trend.
