For one of the most talented singers in the pop sphere, it was unwise for Aguilera to kick things off with abstract "Lotus" in auto-tune. It was literally a circus from there. We're all about supporting the underdogs and the freaks of the world, but there wasn't enough of a great musical performance for "Army of Me" and "Let There Be Love" to tentpole such theatrics.
