The hottest viral tune of 2012 is Psy's uber-addictive "Gangnam Style," and no matter how many times as the tune is trotted out it never fails to get my blood pumping. Tonight was no exception to the rule, as the South Korean rapper put in an admirably energetic closing performance of the song, complete with the parachute pants and Thierry Lasry sunglasses we've all come to know and love. Speaking of parachute pants, "Too Legit" rapper MC Hammer joined Psy on stage in a surprise appearance near the end of the performance, and while the mash-up of their respective tunes was about as cheesy as it sounds, the whole thing was so deliriously infectious it was impossible not to crack a smile.
