On one hand, kudos to the SAG Awards producers for having a live orchestra. Great to employ their union brothers and sisters.  However, the musical selections by the producers or band leader were terrible. Elevator music is more contemporary and energetic than what the band was playing all night. The choices only made the two-hour show seem even longer than it actual was. If the Oscars and Emmys can do it, why not the SAGs?
