Worst: Crowd control (or lack thereof)
Comic-Con is run and organized by people who genuinely care about the event they've built over the years and who seem to me like they love being the focus of this amazing bombardment of fan energy every year, but the outsides of the building became such an issue this year that it got genuinely scary. On two different occasions, I saw crowds packing into sidewalks that simply couldn't accommodate them, and I saw people get hurt simply because there was nowhere for them to go and no way for the crowd behind them to figure it out, and the crowd control, even when told about the situation, didn't seem to know how to address the situation. With crowds at capacity even in the wee small hours, Comic-Con needs to make sure that they handle the entire property with the attention to detail that they try to bring to the most prominent parts of the convention. No one wants to see someone get seriously hurt or even killed before things change.
