Lowdown: This shaggy dog joke of a movie takes a long, gross time to get to one of the oldest punchlines in the book. The only reason I stayed seated for what I'm pretty sure was the full 957 minute running time is because I wanted to see if they were really going to wrap it up the way it appears they're going to wrap it up from the very first scene. Sure enough, they do, and I can honestly say this is the one film I saw at Sundance this year that felt like a real embarrassment.
