You wouldn't have known Billie Joe Armstrong was admitted to an Italian hospital, like, four days ago based on Green Day's show-stopping performance of "Let Yourself Go" this evening, and yet by god he actually was. Forced to cancel a show in Bologna, Italy over the weekend due to the frontman suffering an unfortunate bout of dehydration, the pop-punkers nevertheless sounded tighter than ever as they launched into the new tune with boosters cranked up to 11. And in a show woefully light on watercooler moments, Armstrong's invitation for the crowd to rush the performance area near the end (he was literally mobbed) is actually something we might remember tomorrow.
