Loser: 'American Horror Story'
On one hand, "American Horror Story: Asylum" earned its Golden Globe recognition in FX's category-of-choice. After the SAG Awards had the temerity to call "AHS" a "drama series" on Wednesday, the Globes followed the FX edict and considered "AHS" a movie/miniseries. Unfortunately, the Globes also considered "AHS" to five other movies and miniseries projects and snubbed the anthology frightfest. Jessica Lange still earned her obligatory nomination for Lead Actress in a Movie/Miniseries, bumped up from "supporting" last year, but even Sarah Paulson earned her Golden Globe nomination for HBO's "Game Change," rather than "American Horror Story: Asylum."
