Talk about a comeback. Ang Lee's gorgeous epic needed a boost to keep it on any sort of track for Oscar love and the Golden Globes provided it with best picture - drama, director and original score (Danna) nominations.  "Pi" still needs more guild love (it came up empty at SAG), but this gives 20th Century Fox something to campaign with over the final three weeks of Academy Awards nominations voting.
