Gregory Ellwood and Kristopher Tapley predict: "Blue is the Warmest Color"
Guy Lodge predicts: "The Great Beauty"
Lowdown: With BAFTA unrestricted by complicated eligibility or submission conditions, they're free to vote for the buzziest foreign film of the year -- and usually do. That makes this a close race between two of last year's big Cannes hits: "Blue is the Warmest Color" has more media hype on its side, but "The Great Beauty" was actually the bigger box office hit in the UK, where it connected with an older audience that the steamy Palme d'Or winner didn't quite find.
