The top popular categories, as per usual, are dominated by the majors, but according to the Association of Independent Music, about half of the nominations for non-producer awards were issued to independent labels. There's also the enormous, blockbusting success of Mumford & Sons (Glassnote) and Taylor Swift (Big Machine), M83 (Mute) and The Lumineers (Dualtone).
