2013 Golden Globes Predictions
Will Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day-Lewis, 'Homeland' and 'Modern Family' walk away winners?
Best Performance by an Actor In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
Alan Arkin, "Argo"
Philip Seymour Hoffman, "The Master"
Christoph Waltz, "Django Unchained"
Leonardo DiCaprio, "Django Unchained"
Tommy Lee Jones, "Lincoln"
Who will win: Leonardo DiCaprio, "Django Unchained"
Upset special: Tommy Lee Jones, "Lincoln," Philip Seymour Hoffman, "The Master"
Lowdown: An intriguing category to say the least. Jones hasn't been nominated since he won for "The Fugitive" in 1994. He is not popular among the press overall (his own fault) and that has to be weighing in member's minds. DiCaprio on the other hand, has been nominated eight times since 1994 (where he received a nod for "What's Eating Gilbert Grape") and won best actor - drama for "The Aviator" in 2004. This is Hoffman's fourth nod since winning best actor - drama for "Capote" in 2006. While the membership may not love his movie, Hoffman could surprise as well.
