Lowdown: I think Larry Hagman's a lock here and I'm not sure I could explain why. Globes voters used to love him on the original "Dallas" and I think ballots came back after his passing, so this would be an emotional tribute. So, actually, I'm totally able to explain why. Nostalgia + Respect + Fitting Eulogy = Nomination. Anyway... Dinklage won last year. Harris is a movie star. Everybody else? Who knows! Assume somebody from "Modern Family" will be nominated. Assume somebody from "Downton Abbey" will be nominated. You'd think Aaron Paul would be a lock for "Breaking Bad," but since he's never been nominated here before, you'd be presumptuous to think that. I think Jared Harris, as a foreign actor with an esteemed pedigree giving a worthy performance on a beloved show makes a lot of sense, but I'd also think Mandy Patinkin made a lot of sense. Of course, "Hatfields and McCoys" or "Coma" could both fill the category from their deep rosters of craggy supporting players. Once again... Who knows?
