There’s a minimum of scantily-clad women in the video’s in this category in a genre that relishes them: “Beez In the Trap” is the only one that features girls who look like they came straight off the pole, and even that’s at a minimum. “Heartbeat” and “Mercy” are boring and “HYFR” is just weird and potentially offensive given the propensity of the F-word in the synagogue. I’m generally opposed to live videos winning, but Watch the Throne’s live clip for “Paris” has fun visuals and effects that lift it far higher than the usual live shoot, plus Kanye West and Jay-Z will get the most votes. Bonus: the cutaway to the “Blades of Glory” scene still makes me laugh.
